Misasa Onsen

A hot spring area in Tottori with a history of more than 850 years since opening, where radioactive springs boasting one of the world’s highest radon concentrations gush forth. Along the banks of the Mitoku River, there is a naturally flowing open-air bath, and the riverside is lined with three-story wooden inns, creating an atmospheric hot spring town. It is a place where the medicinal bathing culture unique to radium springs still lives on today.
