Stay in Shiobara Onsenkyo

An onsen village in Tochigi with a 1,200-year history, where eleven onsen sources are scattered along the gorge of the Hoki River. Within just a few kilometers, six different types of spring water emerge, and the color of the baths also varies from inn to inn, from milky white to brown. Suspension bridges spanning the gorge and famous autumn foliage spots line the area, making this a mountain onsen retreat where you can make your way around the baths and enjoy strolls as well.
