Tateyama Onsen

An onsen resort at the southern tip of the Boso Peninsula, overlooking Tateyama Bay in Chiba. Located in southern Boso, where the climate stays mild even in winter thanks to the Kuroshio Current, each inn has its own distinct source. From hillside inns with ocean views to secluded inns set in restored old houses, the atmosphere varies widely, and you can enjoy the onsen along with local seafood caught right in front of you. It is a seaside onsen area you can reach in about two hours from central Tokyo.
