Tateyama Onsen

A hot spring resort at the southern tip of the Boso Peninsula, overlooking Tateyama Bay in Chiba. Located in southern Boso, where the climate stays mild even in winter thanks to the Kuroshio Current, each inn has its own distinct source spring. From hillside inns with ocean views to a single renovated traditional house turned inn, the atmosphere varies widely, and you can enjoy the hot springs along with local seafood caught right in front of you. It is a seaside spa area you can reach in about two hours from central Tokyo.
