Yumigahama Onsen

An onsen area in Minamiizu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture, where inns are gathered near Yumigahama, a beach with a white shoreline that curves like a bow. The coast, selected as one of Japan’s 100 Best Beaches, stretches out right in front of you, becoming a swimming beach in summer and a quiet walking path in other seasons. Located close to the southern tip of the Izu Peninsula, it is also near the cliffs of Irozaki and the onsen area of Shimogamo. It is one of the less crowded places in Izu, making it ideal for a peaceful stay.
