Gifu Ogaki City
Ogaki Sauna, nestled in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture. Since its establishment in 1966, it has been cherished as a sanctuary for men. The sauna room features a stone-style, dry and intensely hot setup, with temperatures rising to around 100-110°C. At the moment you sweat it all out, a cold plunge bath filled with renowned water drawn from underground awaits you. This 'miracle cold plunge bath,' maintaining a temperature of around 14°C throughout the year, combines a sharp coldness with a gentle embrace that wraps around your body. The contrast between the water and the sauna awakens the pinnacle of relaxation. The interior exudes a retro Showa era charm and includes a dining area, relaxation space, and reclining room. On the second floor, the classic ginger pork set meal is available, renowned as a sauna meal. The warm hospitality of the staff naturally provides a sense of comfort to first-time visitors.
A 'Showa Strong Dry' setup at around 110°C, where the dry heat warms the body from the core. Sitting on the two-tiered bench, the second tier offers an experience of piercing heat. It's a space where you can be thoroughly steamed in a retro atmosphere.
A cold plunge bath filled with abundant underground water unique to the 'City of Water, Ogaki,' flowing continuously. It is cold with an average temperature of around 14°C throughout the year, characterized by a soft water quality that envelops the skin. It is referred to as the miracle cold plunge bath.
