The hot spring at Hotel Ichibata uses the source of 'Matsue Shinji Lake Onsen,' which springs from 1,250 meters underground. The spring quality is sodium-calcium sulfate-chloride (weakly alkaline). It is expected to promote blood circulation, relieve fatigue, and improve cold sensitivity. From the large public bath, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Shinji along with the seasonal scenery.
The löyly sauna is adjacent to the large bath on the top floor. It is a quiet space without a TV, where you can sweat while gazing at Lake Shinji through the window. Using sauna stones for convection, the room is filled with gentle heat. The temperature is not too high, allowing you to enjoy the lake view comfortably for a long time. When steam rises with the löyly, the humidity increases, promoting a quick sweat. You can smoothly transition from the sauna to the cold plunge bath, enjoying the bathing experience along with the scenery.
The cold plunge bath is located right next to the sauna. With a moderate chill, it refreshingly cools down your body heated from the sauna. The water temperature is crisp, and as you soak in, you can feel the chill reaching deep into your core.
