About Sauna & Capsule Amza
"Sauna & Capsule Amza" is a sauna and capsule hotel located in Sennichimae, at the heart of Osaka's Minami district. In the powerful IKI sauna, where a giant IKI stove stands at the center of the room, daily aufguss and auto-löyly synchronized with projection mapping and powerful sound effects are offered. The facility also features three saunas, including a meditative Finnish sauna and a herbal steam sauna, along with distinctive cool-down amenities such as a cold plunge bath and Penguin Room, plus an open-air bath overlooking the nightscape of Osaka Minami.
Hot SpringONSEN
Beautiful Foam Radium Bath "Manyo no Yu"
A uniquely developed beauty-bubble bath made from Shigaraki ware ceramic plates blended with radium ore. Millions of ultra-fine bubbles emerging from the entire ceramic surface envelop the body, removing impurities from the pores while promoting blood circulation and helping relieve fatigue. The smooth, mellow water encourages long soaks, and it may also help improve skin condition by working on pores opened by sauna-induced sweating.

IKI Sauna
Amza's main sauna, an open, glass-fronted dry sauna with a giant IKI stove standing at the center like a sacred object. Its overwhelming presence, together with the massive stack of sauna stones in a spacious room for 30 people, creates anticipation for an otherworldly heat experience. In addition to auto-löyly every 15 minutes, projection-mapped visuals and powerful sound design are synchronized with each löyly moment, delivering an entertainment-style sauna experience unlike almost anything else in Japan.
Meditative Finnish Sauna
A Finnish sauna filled with steam rising from water-sprayed sauna stones, harmonizing mild heat and humidity. Its gentle temperature setting and quiet environment without a TV create the perfect space for inner reflection and meditation. Self-löyly is available, so you can pour your preferred amount of aromatherapy water onto the stones and enjoy a steam experience all your own. In contrast to the intense löyly events of the IKI sauna, this balance of stillness and motion is one of Amza's attractions.
Goel Steam Sauna
A visually distinctive steam sauna whose walls and floor are decorated with colorful mosaic tiles reminiscent of Spanish architect Gaudí's Park Güell. Radiant heat warms the seats and entire walls, while humid steam slowly heats the body. True to the name "herbal," the room is filled with fragrant herbal steam that encourages full-body perspiration.
Cold BathCOLD BATH
Cold Water Bath
A standard cold water bath with a firm cooling sensation. By alternating between sauna and cold bathing, it is expected to support the autonomic nervous system and aid recovery from fatigue. Ideal when you want to cool your body gradually and evenly. With a water depth of 60 to 80 cm, it is easy to submerge your whole body, and its combination with the pot bath lets you freely adjust the intensity of your cool-down.
Cold Pot Bath
A single-person pot bath made of Shigaraki ware ceramics. This is Amza's lowest-temperature private cool-down zone, created for serious sauna enthusiasts. Lowering your whole body into the pot and feeling the entire body cool at once within a tightly enclosed space where you cannot even stretch your arms and legs is on a different level from an ordinary cold water bath. With a temperature of around 14°C, entering it immediately after receiving the intense heat of the IKI sauna can lead to a dramatic state of totonou.
Flow Pool
A large flowing pool that lets you move between the indoor and open-air areas. With a water temperature of around 24 to 25°C, it is useful when you want to bring your body temperature down gradually after sauna heat. Inspired by lake diving in Finland, it functions as a step-by-step cooling process, and it also offers a pleasant sense of recovery when used after the intense cold pot bath. With a water depth of 80 to 110 cm, you can rest your body while enjoying upright floating or buoyancy.
