About Shiohama no Yu Shikoku Kenkomura

"Shiohama no Yu Shikoku Kenkomura" is a 24-hour health resort in Utazu Town, Ayauta District, Kagawa Prefecture. It offers 11 kinds of baths, including its signature open-air bath, "Udon Prefecture Kamaage no Yu," as well as carbonated spring baths and medicinal baths. In the men's sauna, you can enjoy auto-löyly, while the women's sauna offers self-löyly, and the daily aufguss events are also popular. With popular theater, a restaurant, and lodging facilities, it is a fully equipped resort where you can spend the whole day enjoying Setouchi sightseeing.

Udon Prefecture Kamaage no Yu

A milky-white open-air bath full of Kagawa’s playful spirit. Its cloudy water, reminiscent of the steam rising from boiling kamaage udon, is its defining feature, and it feels exceptionally gentle on the skin. You can enjoy bathing to your heart’s content as you move from one of 11 thoughtfully designed tubs to another, including carbonated spring baths, milky baths, and pot baths. From the spacious open-air area, you can enjoy an open and refreshing soak while feeling the Setouchi air.

A spacious, high-temperature dry sauna where you can feel the heat. A METOS stove stands at the center, and auto-löyly operates every hour at :00 and :30. The steam that spreads all at once raises the perceived temperature and encourages powerful perspiration. On Sundays and other days, aufguss events by heat wave masters are also held, letting you enjoy an immersive, live-style heat experience. The sauna room is also equipped with a TV, so you can relax while working up a sweat.

A sauna newly installed in the women’s bath area, and a rare self-löyly-equipped sauna in Kagawa Prefecture. You can pour aroma water at your own pace and relax while surrounded by the soothing sound and fragrance of steam. With its fantastical lighting effects, it is a space where you can enjoy a high-quality sauna life. Aufguss by female staff is also held twice a day, allowing you to experience authentic waves of heat.

A crisp, chilled cold plunge bath located just next to the sauna. It rapidly cools the body after it has been pushed to the limit in the sauna, leading you into a refreshing state of tototonou. The wide tub lets you soak at your leisure, easing the heat throughout your body. In the open-air area, there is a spacious outdoor air-bath zone, and resting in a totonoi chair while feeling the Setouchi breeze is especially delightful.
