About Fujiyama Onsen

"Fujiyama Onsen" is one of Japan's largest pure wooden day-use hot spring facilities, located in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, next to Fuji-Q Highland. The bathhouse is breathtakingly beautiful, with massive beam construction built without a single nail using traditional Hida Takayama craftsmanship, and a huge zelkova tree over 200 years old towering over the bathing area. The hot spring is a miraculous source of famous water blended from five highly rare spring qualities found nationwide: magnesium, calcium, sodium bicarbonate, sulfate, and chloride. The sauna is equipped with METOS' iki stove and automatic löyly, and you can admire a Mt. Fuji tile mural specially drawn by Katsuaki Tanaka. After the sauna, sink into an exquisite cold plunge bath made with 100% Fuji's uniquely moist vanadium natural water, then cool down in the refreshing outdoor air bath and achieve an incredibly deep totonou state.

An extremely rare natural hot spring with five spring qualities blended in perfect balance: magnesium, calcium, sodium bicarbonate, sulfate, and chloride. It is exceptionally effective for beautiful skin and for keeping the body warm, and your skin becomes amazingly smooth after bathing. Guests can enjoy this famous spring in luxury in the pure wooden zelkova indoor bath with a massive beam structure and a ceiling height of over 17 meters, or in the spacious rocky open-air bath where the crisp outdoor air from the foot of Mt. Fuji can be felt.

A luxurious men-only sauna featuring a large METOS iki stove towering inside. It is equipped with automatic löyly, which sprays Fuji's natural vanadium water onto the stones every 30 minutes, instantly filling the room with intensely premium heat. Inside the sauna, there is also a large, vividly colored tile mural titled 'Nihon Sa-kei,' specially drawn by manga artist Katsuaki Tanaka, allowing guests to enjoy deeply focused, visually beautiful relaxation and superb perspiration.

Mt. Fuji Natural Vanadium Water Cold Plunge Bath

A cold plunge bath located right in front of the sauna, luxuriously filled 100% with the precious natural vanadium water unique to Mt. Fuji. It is chilled by a cooler to an icy 15 to 16°C. With about twice the vanadium content of commercially sold mineral water, the water quality is astonishingly mellow and soft, cooling the body gently as if wrapping it all over, rather than stinging the skin. It powerfully stimulates metabolism and leads you to an exquisite totonou state.
