Osaka Habikino City
A satoyama resort where you can enjoy free-flowing natural hot springs and authentic saunas
"Natural Hot Spring Nobeha no Yu Main Branch Habikino" is a hot spring complex in Habikino, Osaka Prefecture. Its signature aufguss facility, Nappu Jumoya, and self-löyly sauna, Nesu no Ma, let you work up a sweat with as much or as little intensity as you like, then finish with a crisp plunge in the cold water bath fed by pumped groundwater. Outdoors, a variety of baths, including a free-flowing natural hot spring, help soothe away fatigue. With a Japanese restaurant and relaxation facilities on-site as well, you can enjoy alternating hot and cold baths and unwind from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m.

This gentle, mildly alkaline simple hot spring uses the facility’s own source, Himorogi no Yu. In the expansive outdoor area inspired by satoyama, a wide variety of baths await, including the most popular tub, which luxuriantly free-flows about 28.9°C natural spring water emerging from underground, as well as the warmed Gen-sen Iwaburo and Gen-ken Kisetsuburo, the Tsubo-yu where you can have a private Shigaraki-ware ceramic tub all to yourself, and the Neneko with a view of the sky. The colorless, clear water has a faint mall-like scent and a soft feel, and bathing in different tubs at different temperatures further enhances the benefits. Surrounded by the atmosphere of satoyama, you can lose track of time and savor the blessings of the hot spring at a leisurely pace.

Heat waves generated by an iki stove and a ZIEL stove piled high with sauna stones fill the room. The upper tier delivers sharp heat, while the lower tier offers gentler sweating, so you can choose whichever suits you best. During the löyly service held every hour at :30, heat and steam surge up at once, opening up your sweat glands throughout your body.

This sauna uses self-löyly, allowing you to pour water yourself and combine dense heat with waves of humidity for deep sweating in a short time. No talking. By rotating with the larger Nappu Jumoya, you can freely create your preferred range of sensations. Heat concentrates in the compact space, giving you time to focus inward. Pour at your own pace, adjust the balance of heat and steam, and bring out the kind of sweating you like best.

The women’s Nappu Jumoya was renewed on April 25, 2025. Featuring a chic black interior with two METOS IKI stoves, it has been reborn as a space where you can fully enjoy the sauna in a calm atmosphere. During the staff löyly every hour at :30, abundant steam rising from the two stoves envelops the room, and together with the high temperature, it encourages full-body sweating.

A women’s three-tier self-löyly sauna equipped with METOS ZIEL. Its stepped design takes advantage of heat convection, allowing you to enjoy different perceived temperatures depending on where you sit. With self-löyly of three ladles per round, you can control the amount of steam yourself and create quiet time to gradually head toward a state of perfect relaxation.

A cooling bath that the facility proudly draws from groundwater. Set between the outdoor area and the sauna rooms, it rapidly cools the body from the core immediately after sweating. With a depth of 90 cm, its design lets the cold seep in as if enveloping the whole body. The soft water quality unique to groundwater is gentle on the skin and easy to stay in for longer periods.
