ONSEN&SAUNA YUKULU is a natural onsen bathhouse inside Nagasaki Stadium City in Nagasaki, Nagasaki Prefecture. Its water, drawn from deep underground and carrying the scent of sulfur, is known as a “bath of beauty,” and you can savor it at leisure in an airy open-air bath and an indoor bath. The main bathhouse on the 7th floor has a full-scale Stadium Sauna with automatic löyly and an icy cold plunge. On the 6th floor, a premium sauna area that men and women enjoy together in loungewear gathers saunas of real character, such as the Wakaran Sauna, which evokes Nagasaki’s culture, and the meditation sauna. After bathing, spend your time as you like in a relaxation space lined with about 4,500 comic books or in the coworking area.

Enjoy an alkaline simple sulfur spring at leisure in both the indoor bath and the airy open-air bath. Smooth to the touch and called a “bath of beauty,” the water leaves your skin silky long after bathing. A spacious stadium-style sauna inside the main bathhouse. Automatic löyly runs at regular intervals, sending pleasant heat and steam through the room and drawing out sweat all at once. In a quiet setting you sit with the heat at your own pace, and when you step out, the cold plunge right beside it gives you a crisp cool-down. It is a place to fully enjoy the classic cycle of hot and cold.

An icy cold plunge that gently embraces a body heated to the limit in the sauna. It is an easy step from the sauna room, and the cold pulls your flushed body taut at once. You can cool down comfortably to suit the season and how you feel that day, and it deepens the totonou (the settled state of deep relaxation) that comes as you cool off in the open air or rest afterward.

An entertaining sauna that men and women enjoy together in loungewear. Light and sound change with the time of day and the season, so the mood is different on every visit. Events such as aufguss are held regularly, offering a special sauna experience of waves of heat and shared excitement. It is a new kind of space where you can sweat happily with friends or family while all five senses are stirred.
Meditation sauna
A dim, calm and silent space modeled on a cave. Free from the noise around you, you can lose yourself in the sauna and simply turn inward. It offers löyly you pour yourself, so you can adjust the humidity and heat to your liking, and with only the sound of rising steam as your soundtrack you are led into deep relaxation. A deeply immersive sauna, ideal when you want to reset body and mind.
Wakaran Sauna
A sauna full of exotic charm, its design drawing on wakaran, the blend of Japanese, Chinese and Dutch cultures unique to Nagasaki. Walls that evoke stained glass and cobblestones, along with Chinese lattice work, delight the eye. With löyly you pour yourself, a special scent that recalls Nagasaki’s history spreads through the room, and a pleasant aroma wraps the whole body along with the heat.
