The weak alkaline simple hot spring gently envelops the skin, reputed as 'Bijin no Yu' (Beautiful Skin Water). The texture of the water is soft, leaving the skin smooth after bathing. It has high heat retention, warming you from the core and making it difficult to catch a chill. The indoor bath is deep enough for a relaxing soak up to the shoulders, and the open-air bath allows you to enjoy the renowned hot spring while viewing the seasonal scenery. It is expected to be effective for chronic lower back pain, sensitivity to cold, and recovery from fatigue. Drinking the spring water is also possible.
