HOTEL MAZARIUM KANAN SPA is a bathing facility attached to a hotel on the 3rd floor of Morioka Bus Center in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture. It is an art hotel decorated with works by artists with intellectual disabilities, and it also features an authentic Finnish sauna. In the sauna room, where the slightly dim lighting creates a more immersive atmosphere, you can enjoy pleasant steam with self-löyly. After the sauna, cool down in a single-person tube-shaped cold plunge bath that uses soft groundwater, then refresh yourself while feeling the breeze in the open-air bathing area. It also has a carbonated spring bath and a regular bath, and after bathing you can relax in the lounge with jazz playing or on the rooftop plaza.

Self-löyly is available, allowing you to pour water onto the sauna stones yourself, and the rising heat and steam gently envelop your whole body. In this quiet space, you can enjoy a deep sense of immersion and sweat as you face your own mind and body. From around June to September, birch vihta are displayed in the open-air bathing area for a limited time, adding a pleasant fragrance to your relaxation time.
