About Yamanokami Onsen Yuukaen
"Yamanokami Onsen Yuukaen" is a hot spring ryokan in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. Its magnificent architecture, including a coffered ceiling meticulously crafted by master shrine and temple carpenters, and its expansive Japanese garden, where flowers and trees change with the seasons, create an extraordinary atmosphere. Its pride and joy is an alkaline simple spring with a silky, lotion-like texture. You can fully enjoy luxurious free-flowing natural hot spring water in the large open-air bath, one of the biggest in the Hanamaki Onsen area, and in the new open-air bath with its dreamlike blue lighting. The grounds also include a day-use bath facility, and with a sauna, cold plunge bath, dining options where you can taste Hanamaki's brand pork, Shirogane Ton, and a relaxation salon, you can stretch out and unwind to your heart's content in this fully equipped setting.
Hot SpringONSEN
Toyosawa-no-yu Large Open-Air Bath
A large open-air bath that boasts one of the largest spaces in the Hanamaki Onsen area. Alkaline simple spring water with a lotion-like, silky texture flows directly from the source. As you gaze up at the star-filled sky of Hanamaki, beloved by Kenji Miyazawa, and listen to the murmur of the Toyosawa River and the sound of the hot spring water bubbling up from the outlet, you can enjoy a richly atmospheric bath that makes you feel one with Iwate's great natural surroundings.
Toyosawa-no-yu Indoor Bath
An indoor bath distinguished by its strikingly high ceiling. Because this high ceiling helps lower the room temperature to a comfortable level, you can enjoy the pleasant feeling of keeping your head cool and your feet warm while soaking slowly in the bath. Beautiful background artwork made from Chinese ceramics covers the entire wall, and together with the silky free-flowing natural hot spring water, it deepens the sense of travel and relaxation.
Komorebino-yu New Open-Air Bath
At night, a blue glow appears and a fantastical space unfolds, as if you were bathing in the middle of the galaxy. This new open-air bath has a water edge created by the free-flowing natural hot spring water overflowing from the rim of the tub, enhancing the sense of unity with the surrounding nature. A sauna is also available, so you can enjoy alternating hot and cold bathing alongside spectacular scenery.
Komorebino-yu Indoor Bath
During the day, this indoor bath is filled with a bright, open atmosphere reminiscent of a garden terrace. While admiring the background artwork on the walls, made from Chinese ceramics, you can take your time enjoying the silky-feeling natural hot spring water that flows directly from the source. In this soothing space surrounded by nature, both body and mind can be refreshed.

A private bath available exclusively to overnight guests. In this spacious bath area, which also comes with washing areas and a vanity room, you can have the silky natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source all to yourself. Without worrying about anyone else, you can enjoy quiet, luxurious moments of relaxation with your family or partner to your heart's content.

A dry sauna located next to the new open-air bath at Komorebino-yu. The powerful heat radiated by the convection stove envelops your body and warms you deeply from the inside out. In this quiet, calm space, you can forget the noise of everyday life and spend time quietly facing yourself. After working up a good sweat, you can smoothly move on to the nearby cold plunge bath or outdoor air bath in the open-air area for a deeply relaxing experience.

Free parking for 150 cars. Take the shuttle bus from Bus Stop 2 at the West Exit Bus Terminal of Shin-Hanamaki Station, or from the shuttle bus stop at the East Exit of JR Hanamaki Station.
