Tokyo Yugawara Onsen Manyo-no-Yu is a day-use onsen complex with guest rooms for overnight stays in Machida, Tokyo. Renowned Yugawara onsen water, brought in by tanker truck every day, fills its open-air baths and spacious indoor baths. The dry sauna hosts löyly events wrapped in the scent of aroma oils, and after a slow sweat in the mist sauna you can cool down pleasantly in the soft-water cold plunge. Renowned onsen water brought by tanker truck from Yugawara every day fills the spacious indoor baths and the airy open-air bath. There are also many other baths, such as a strongly carbonated nano-bubble bath expected to have beauty benefits and a hydrogen bath using the latest technology, so you can savor the atmosphere of a true onsen village without leaving the city.
Private bath
A special space reserved for overnight guests, where you can spend private time without worrying about others. The spacious tub is filled with natural onsen water brought from Yugawara, and the warmth of this fine water is yours alone. Enjoy a quiet, calm and blissful bath with someone special or your family.
Foot bath

High-temperature sauna

Cold plunge
A conveniently placed cold plunge right across from the sauna room. It uses soft water that feels smooth on the skin without any tingling, gently cooling your flushed body. The door right next to it leads to the open-air area, so moving from the cold plunge to cooling off in the open air is effortless, guiding you toward a superb totonou experience.
Hot Stone SpaHOT STONE SPA
Warm-stone area
A vast warm-stone area with a range of themes to relax body and mind, such as Ryusei-bo, evoking a mysterious starry sky, and Shinrin-bo, with soothing green lighting reminiscent of forest bathing. Men and women can use it together in the wear provided, and far-infrared rays from natural minerals such as black silica warm you gently to the core. There is also a healing terrace with Yogibo beanbags, famous for being impossible to get up from, and a hydrogen water server, so you can enjoy detoxing all day long.
Nagomi-bo Daidai
A women-only warm-stone room softly lit in warm orange. It uses maifan stone and fossil ocher, whose far-infrared effect boosts circulation and brings on a heavy sweat. In this dry, floor-style room, you can enjoy detoxing at leisure in a calm, private atmosphere without worrying about others’ eyes.

By car
- From the Yokohama-Machida exit of the Tomei Expressway (after the toll gate, head toward Hachioji, Sagamihara and Machida)
- Route 16 → Route 246; turn left at the Tomei Iriguchi intersection, then right at the next traffic light
- Car navigation finds it more easily if you search for the old address, 1685-2 Tsuruma, Machida, Tokyo
By train and bus
- Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, Minami-machida Grandberry Park Station → shuttle bus, about 10 to 15 minutes (the stop is about a 2-minute walk from the Grandberry Park ticket gate)
- JR / Odakyu Machida Station → shuttle bus, about 35 to 40 minutes
- Machida Bus Center, stop 9 → route 87 bound for Tsuruma Station East Exit; get off at Machida-tsuji → about a 5-minute walk
Shuttle bus
