About SPA-SEN Taihei no Yu
"SPA-SEN Taihei no Yu" is a wellness complex in Tarumi Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. Located next to Marinya Kobe, it is proud of its spectacular open-air baths overlooking the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and the Seto Inland Sea. In addition to a wide variety of baths such as a high-concentration carbonated spring and an artificial hot spring, it features a dry sauna with auto löyly, a salt steam sauna, and a mist sauna, plus daily staff-led aroma löyly. With bedrock baths, a restaurant, and relaxation facilities as well, you can spend the whole day here while gazing at the sea.
BathBATH
High-Concentration Artificial Carbonated Spring
An open-air bath infused with such a high concentration of carbon dioxide that it is said to be the “bath of the heart” in Europe. Even with a lukewarm setting, it feels warm to the touch, and the body stays warm long after you get out. From evening onward, lights like fireflies are added to the water basin in front of the bath, creating a fantastical atmosphere together with the night scenery along the coast.
Pot Bath
An open-air bath in the style of a goemonburo, using Shigaraki-yaki pots. Set at just under a fairly hot 42°C, it offers a distinctive sensation of being snugly wrapped by the pot as you soak. Seasonal flower-and-fragrance color baths are held regularly.
Lying Bath
An open-air lying bath where you can recline and bathe with almost no water pressure. The soft flow of water running along your back gently envelops your whole body, allowing you to enjoy the bath at a relaxed pace in a posture that does not tire you easily, even for long periods.
Silk Bath
A silk bath in which countless ultra-fine bubbles turn the water milky white. The tiny bubbles reach deep into the pores of the skin, helping lift away dirt while also offering the relaxing effects of negative ions. The soft sensation of being wrapped in fluffy bubbles feels wonderfully soothing.

Mist Sauna
A mist sauna filled with so much steam that the room turns almost completely white. Even at a gentle 45°C, the high-humidity steam penetrates the skin, opens the pores and sweat glands, and helps expel waste and toxins from the body. On the men’s side, the stunning view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, the Seto Inland Sea, and Awaji Island spreads out beyond the white steam, and the combination of the view and the steam creates a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
Dry Sauna
A convection-style dry sauna built with stacked stone stoves. The spacious room has a TV, and individual sauna mats are provided. Its biggest feature is the auto löyly that activates every 20 minutes, automatically spraying aroma steam onto the stones and instantly transforming the room into a high-temperature, high-humidity space.
Dry Sauna
A women-only dry sauna where gentle radiant heat from far-infrared gas heaters spreads throughout the room. Using an hourglass to check the time, guests can pour the daily aroma water themselves in a self-löyly, adding fragrance and steam whenever they like. It allows you to sweat comfortably while wrapped in the scent of aromatherapy. During special events, staff-led löyly sessions are also held.
Cold BathCOLD BATH
Cold Water Bath
The men’s cold plunge bath located indoors. With a solidly cool water temperature of 15°C, it quickly cools down the body after the scorching dry sauna or salt steam sauna. With a depth of 60–80 cm, it is easy to submerge the whole body, making the process toward totonou smooth. The pathway to the outdoor air-bathing area is also nearby, making it easy to repeat the cold plunge bath → outdoor air bath cycle.

Bedrock Bath
A well-equipped bedrock bath area featuring multiple rooms with different atmospheres, such as Byakko Cloud, Seiryu Furnace, Suzaku Salt, and Ice Genbu, plus a cool room. Guests can use it together regardless of gender in special clothing, with no time limit. Natural pink rock salt and tourmaline stones gently stimulate the body’s pressure points, while far-infrared heat delivers warmth deep into the body and promotes deep detox. Daily events are also held, including aroma-water löyly and dreamlike displays where nano mist spreads like a sea of clouds. When your body gets overheated, cool down on the spectacular seaside terrace with panoramic views of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and the Seto Inland Sea. A comic corner with an enormous selection of manga is also available, making this a blissful space where you can relax all day long.

- Boarding and drop-off area near the west bicycle parking lot in front of Tarumi Station
About a 10-minute walk from JR Tarumi Station and Sanyo Tarumi Station on the Sanyo Electric Railway. Parking for 220 cars.
