"Ginka, Kinosaki Maruyama River Onsen" is a hot spring ryokan in Toyooka, Hyogo Prefecture. Standing on the banks of the gently flowing Maruyama River, it is an adults-only hideaway with guest rooms spread across a vast property. The large public bath consists of an open-air bath arranged as if it were connected to the river and a spacious indoor bath where you can stretch out your body. Soaking in the water creates the feeling of drifting on the river's surface. The soft waters of the alkaline simple hot spring glide over the skin, and at night, the wind across the water and the starlight deepen the sense of quiet. The two private baths, each with a different atmosphere, can be enjoyed free of charge by overnight guests, and every room is equipped with a glass-walled cypress observation bath. Meals feature creative kaiseki cuisine centered on Tajima beef and Matsuba crab, and the hospitality is attentive down to the post-bath probiotic drinks and late-night udon.
