About Gunma Onsen Yasuragi no Yu

"Gunma Onsen Yasuragi no Yu" is a day-use hot spring facility in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, boasting abundant water from its own natural source. Its biggest highlight is the extremely hot 45°C bath, the hottest in the facility. This ultra-high-temperature onsen, combined with the sharply cold cold plunge bath, creates alternating hot and cold bathing that has captivated many regulars. The sauna is a comfortable dry sauna with a steady heat of around 90°C, allowing you to work up a thorough sweat. The sodium chloride and bicarbonate spring flowing from underground is also known as a beauty bath that leaves the skin feeling smooth, and at the drinking fountain you can taste the fresh spring water directly. Together with the open-air bath, where you can enjoy seasonal scenery, this is a facility where you can experience the overwhelming power of hot spring bathing.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
