About LiveMax Resort Kusatsu Onsen

"LiveMax Resort Kusatsu Onsen" is a hot spring hotel in Kusatsu Town, Gunma Prefecture. It uses the Bandai-kō source spring of Kusatsu Onsen, counted as one of Japan's three most famous hot springs, with generous free-flowing water, letting you feel the sharp, invigorating effect of its strongly acidic bath. In addition to a large public bath and an open-air bath, the hotel also has a dry sauna and a cold plunge bath, so you can deeply refresh both body and mind through alternating bathing between the famous waters and the sauna. Every guest room comes with a private semi-open-air bath, allowing you to enjoy Kusatsu's hot spring all to yourself in a secluded private space, free from any disturbance. Day-use bathing is also available, and it is in an excellent location as a base for sightseeing at Yubatake.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
