About Urabandai Lake Resort Goshiki-no-Mori

Urabandai Lake Resort Goshiki-no-Mori is a sprawling resort hotel in Kitashiobara Village, Fukushima. Set inside a national park, it enjoys a superb location with Lake Hibara spread out below and Mount Bandai in the distance. Its natural onsen, a free-flowing chloride spring rich in metasilicic acid, is known as a bath for beautiful skin. Main bathhouse

The main bathhouse combines an open-air bath with sweeping views over Lake Hibara and an indoor bath with large, airy windows. The chloride spring that rises on the hotel grounds is rich in metasilicic acid, a moisturizing component, making it a bath for beautiful skin that could be called “nature’s own skin toner.” Some baths are fed straight from the source, never recirculated (others use a filtration and recirculation system), and as you sink into the soft water you can enjoy a blissful soak that feels at one with the beauty of nature through the seasons.
