About Onjuku Toho
"Aizu Higashiyama Onsen Onjuku Toho" is a hot spring ryokan located on a hill in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture. Its greatest appeal lies in two spectacular open-air baths with panoramic views of the streets of Aizu and the surrounding mountains. The terraced baths of Tanagumo no Yu and the circular open-air bath Sora no Yu, which seems to float in the air, operate on a男女 alternating basis, and both offer an overwhelming sense of openness along with highly heat-retaining natural hot spring water. In addition, there is a panoramic dry sauna with views through large windows, as well as a gentle mist sauna. After bathing, guests can enjoy a buffet featuring Aizu local dishes and a relaxation salon, making for a luxurious stay where you can forget everyday life and unwind both body and mind.

Tanagumo no Yu
A large bathing area of impressive scale, with three baths of different depths arranged in a terraced style. From the upper-level full-body bath, the middle-level half-body bath, and the lower-level reclining bath, you can enjoy Aizu's panoramic scenery from each different perspective. The sulfate spring, known for its excellent heat-retaining effect, warms you to the core and lets you enjoy blissful bathing as if melting into the sky.
Sora no Yu
A distinctive large bathing area featuring a circular open-air bath protruding 11 meters above the ground, surrounded by bamboo groves. While enjoying the mysterious sensation of floating in the air, you can look out over the streets of Aizu during the day, and at night gaze up at a sky full of stars and fantastical illumination. Immerse yourself in smooth natural hot spring water and in a sense of extraordinary relaxation.
