Houri no Yu
Another public bath, Houri no Yu, also available on a men-and-women alternating basis. It features an open, airy indoor bath and an open-air bath where you can soak while surrounded by the beautiful greenery of Higashiyama. Guests with tattoos, body art, fake tattoo stickers, painting, or similar markings are not permitted to use the public baths. However, tattoos that can be completely covered by two cover seals measuring 10cm x 14cm may be used in the public baths if the dedicated cover seals are worn. Cover seals are sold at the front desk for 220 yen each, tax included.
