About Konansou, Fuji Kawaguchiko Onsen

"Fuji Kawaguchiko Onsen Konansou" is a luxury onsen ryokan on the lakeshore in Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi Prefecture, renowned for its supreme hospitality. The onsen uses a calcium-sodium sulfate spring that warms the body deeply from within. From the large public baths, "Kirameki no Yu" and "Tokimeki no Yu," guests can enjoy open-air baths, indoor baths, air bubble baths, and jet baths while gazing up at magnificent Mt. Fuji. The rooftop footbath, which offers a 360-degree view of Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, and the lavish guest-room open-air baths and private baths drawing on the onsen water are both truly exceptional.

A mellow natural hot spring of calcium-sodium sulfate water that emerges from the foothills of magnificent Mt. Fuji. Guests can enjoy it in the beautiful indoor baths made of Mikage stone in the men's bath and fragrant cypress wood in the women's bath, as well as in the open-air baths with a dynamic view of Mt. Fuji. In addition to its heat-retaining effect, which warms the body all the way to the core, it also offers excellent skin-beautifying benefits that leave the skin smooth, allowing for a luxurious bath experience in an exceptional private space.

A beautiful panoramic dry sauna installed in both the men's and women's large public baths, "Kirameki no Yu" and "Tokimeki no Yu." Through the large windows in the sauna room, you can take in the overwhelming majesty of sacred Mt. Fuji up close, and the breathtaking view feels like a painting that gently calms the mind. The room temperature is kept steadily at around 90°C, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious sauna session as your body is slowly steamed in the pleasant heat and you work up a heavy sweat from deep within.

A one-person cold plunge bath located in the large public bath area, designed in the style of a Goemon bath and a Shigaraki-yaki pottery pot bath. Its greatest charm is the luxurious sense of privacy, with just enough room for your body alone. The water temperature is controlled at around 15 to 18°C, gently tightening and refreshing a body that has been intensely heated by the sauna. After cooling down thoroughly in the cold water, you can enjoy a superb outdoor bath session by taking in the pleasant Fuji breeze at the edge of the nearby cypress or stone baths in the open-air area.
