Ubuya

A high-end onsen inn with picture-perfect views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, celebrating life

Yamanashi Fujikawaguchiko Town

"Kozantei Ubuya" is one of Japan's finest luxury onsen ryokan, located in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, with the concept of a inn that celebrates life. From every guest room and the large public bath, you can take in the magnificent pairing of Mount Fuji and the serene Lake Kawaguchiko. The hot spring water is a calcium, sodium, chloride, and sulfate spring that warms the body and leaves the skin feeling refreshed. On the second floor of the large public bath, there is a high-temperature dry sauna without a TV, offering a quiet place to focus. Although there is no cold plunge bath, there is a pleasant splash-water area just outside the sauna room, as well as chilled natural groundwater, Fuji no Meisui. The breathtaking outdoor air bath, with Mount Fuji right in front of you and the cool breeze from Lake Kawaguchiko washing over your entire body, is truly sublime. Luxury rooms with open-air baths filled with hot spring water, along with a wide variety of private family baths, are equally exceptional.
