About Hana-yagi no Sho Keizan

"Hana-yagi no Sho Keizan" is a long-established hot spring ryokan in Isawa Town, Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Isawa Onsen Station. Its pride is the abundant, free-flowing alkaline simple spring water from its own source. The silky waters, certified with the "Beautiful Skin Onsen Certificate" for their high moisture-retaining effect, can be enjoyed to the fullest in the large rock open-air bath and the large cypress open-air bath. The large bath is equipped with a comfortable built-in bona sauna and a mist sauna, as well as a cold plunge bath filled with fresh cool water. With nightly taiko performances and full-service spa treatments, the well-rounded hospitality adds color to your stay.

Hot SpringONSEN

Free-flow from source

Bath

A luxurious natural hot spring that flows directly from its own abundant source. It has an alkaline simple spring quality and is characterized by a very gentle, silky texture with little irritation to the skin. It has such excellent moisture-retaining properties that it received Pola Orbis's "Beautiful Skin Onsen Certificate," leaving the skin smooth just by soaking in it. You can enjoy the waters to the fullest in the large indoor bath, or in the rustic large open-air rock bath and cypress bath.

SaunaSAUNA

01SAUNA

High-temperature sauna

Men'sWomen's

A dry sauna with a bona-style built-in heater, installed in the gender-swapped large bath that operates late at night. In a spacious, calm, wood-grain interior, warmth rises gently and evenly from the floor and back, softly heating your body to the core. It is characterized by an exquisitely balanced level of humidity that makes it easy to breathe, bringing gentle, deep sweating and a comfortable sense of relaxation.

02SAUNA

Mist sauna

Men'sWomen's

A mist steam sauna adjacent to the large bath. With a gentle temperature setting that is easy on the skin, warm and soft mist fills the sauna room. The fine warm steam helps you breathe comfortably while slowly warming the body, clearing the pores, and leaving your skin after bathing moisturized and healthy.

Cold BathCOLD BATH

01COLD BATH

Cold Bath

Men'sWomen's

A cold plunge bath located right next to the dry sauna. Fresh water is continuously overflowing from the faucet, and the clean cool water gently firms up your body after sauna use. The mild temperature, which is not too cold, makes it easy to stay in for a longer time, making it a perfect match for alternating between the sauna and the free-flowing beauty-skin hot spring.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
