About Kobe Minato Onsen Ren

Kobe Minato Onsen Ren is a premium Japanese-style resort on Kobe Port in Chuo Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, where hot spring baths, sauna, and spa facilities come together in one place. Its private spring, Kobe Minato Onsen, gushes from 1,150 m underground, and can be enjoyed in spacious open-air baths with a sea breeze and in free-flowing spring water baths. The sauna area features two types of facilities: an authentic Finnish-style dry sauna and an aroma-scented mist sauna with a footbath. Its standout feature is a special cold plunge bath set to about 28°C under the guidance of a physician specializing in balneotherapy, designed to promote health. It reduces sudden chilling and bodily strain while delivering outstanding circulation-boosting effects, and is designed so you can achieve deep, healthy totonou through the pleasant outdoor air bath with the port breeze.

Hot SpringONSEN

Kobe Minato Onsen

A high-quality natural hot spring rich in marine minerals, bubbling up from 1,150 m underground beneath Kobe Port. Its bicarbonate components gently emulsify and remove oily grime from pores, while its salt content richly moisturizes the skin and helps retain warmth, making it a famous spring that leaves your skin beautiful and your body warm for a long time. In the large baths, as well as in the open-air baths where the sea breeze gently brushes your cheeks and in the free-flowing spring water baths, you can enjoy the blessings of the earth with your whole body.

SaunaSAUNA

01SAUNA

Finnish-style dry sauna

Men'sWomen's

An authentic Finnish-style dry sauna. The temperature is set high, and the spacious three-tier bench layout generates powerful heat and pleasant convection that encourages refreshing full-body perspiration at once. There is also a TV in the sauna room, so you can warm up at your own pace. After working up a good sweat, the flow to the adjacent dedicated cool-down area is smooth and easy.

02SAUNA

Aroma nano mist sauna

Men'sWomen's

A groundbreaking wet mist sauna maintained at 45 degrees Celsius and 100% humidity, combining a back hot-water seat and a footbath. While the low-temperature setting is gentle on the body, the fine nano mist with an aroma fragrance wraps around your entire body and gently encourages blood vessel dilation. Together with the warmth of the water flowing from beneath your feet and along your back, you can enjoy deep relaxation and luxurious perspiration without any feeling of stuffiness.

Cold BathCOLD BATH

01COLD BATH

Cold Bath

Men'sWomen's

A special cold plunge bath whose water temperature is set to about 28 degrees to avoid sudden rises in blood pressure and physical strain such as heat shock, based on guidance from physicians specializing in medicine and balneotherapy. Although the temperature is on the lukewarm side, soaking for about 3 minutes allows you to cool down gently yet thoroughly to your core. By constricting blood vessels and promoting circulation, it is an innovative cold plunge bath that balances health promotion with totonou.
