About Kasuien Minami

"Kasuien Minami" is a long-established ryokan in Tamatsukuri Onsen, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, with a history of more than 140 years. On the top floor of the West Wing, there is an open-air observation bath that feels as though it is floating in the sky, while on the first floor there is a garden-style large bath surrounded by beautiful greenery. Guests can enjoy the famed hot spring water known as the "water of the gods," said to be highly effective for beautiful skin and health, in a variety of bathtubs. The women's large bath is also equipped with a low-temperature mist sauna that gently moisturizes the skin. The property is also exceptionally well equipped with relaxation facilities such as hand baths, foot baths, and a women-only bedrock bath.

From this luxurious location, as if floating in the sky, you can take in sweeping views of the atmospheric hot spring town and the beautiful mountains of each season as borrowed scenery. You can fully enjoy Tamatsukuri Onsen, often described as a natural skin lotion, in the ultimate sense of openness, and spend a blissful moment while feeling the pleasant evening breeze.

Garden-style large bath

A garden-style large bath on the first floor. The men's bath, "Ukidono," features calm bathtubs based on wood and rock, while the women's bath, "Ukifune," is known for its cypress tubs and open-air baths where flowers and greenery can be admired. Soak in an open-air bath that blends into the lush garden scenery and enjoy the smooth, moist, high-quality "water of the gods." After bathing, you can relax at your leisure in the pleasant evening breeze in the courtyard or at the post-bath teahouse.
