About Ugaku no Ie Sugiyama

Ugaku no Ie Sugiyama is a long-established hot spring ryokan in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture. Located on the banks of the Nagara River, it is known as an inn associated with cormorant fishing, one of the classic summer sights. The onsen features a spacious observatory large bath where guests can luxuriate in rare reddish-brown Nagara River Onsen with free-flowing natural spring water. In addition, the rooftop open-air bath offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the gentle flow of the clear Nagara River and the beautiful Gifu Castle illuminated at the summit of Mount Kinka, allowing guests to fully enjoy a bath steeped in atmosphere.
