"AUBEGIO Kirishima Kanko Hotel" is a historic hot spring inn and lodging facility in Kirishima Onsenkyo, Kagoshima Prefecture. With a history of about 300 years, it offers the famous "Satsuma no Tonomayu," said to have been favored by the lords of the Satsuma Domain, as a luxurious free-flowing spring bath with only water added. From Kirishima's only panoramic large public bath, you can take in the majestic sight of Sakurajima floating in Kinko Bay. In May 2024, the sauna was renewed with the addition of a rock salt sauna with high detox effects. With breathtaking scenery, a historic famous spring, and an evolved sauna, you can spend a moment of complete relaxation for both body and mind.

A famous spring boasting about 300 years of history and said to have been beloved by successive lords of the Satsuma Domain. The water, offered as a free-flowing natural spring bath with only water added, has a faint milky hue and is rich in floating mineral deposits. Neutral at pH 7.2, it is gentle on the skin and is also expected to offer beauty and skin-beautifying benefits. Enjoy a luxurious bathing experience in the historic "Tonomayu" through a variety of baths, including a panoramic large public bath and an open-air bath.

Rock Salt Sauna (Mine)

A rock salt sauna attached to the panoramic large public bath "Mine," renewed in May 2024. The minerals and negative ions released from the rock salt laid throughout the room gently warm you from the core of your body and provide a high detox effect. The renewal has transformed it into a clean, refined space, where you can reset your daily fatigue in comfortable heat. Large windows let in natural light, creating an open sauna experience.

A spacious dry sauna equipped in the panoramic large public bath "Sora." The steady heat envelops your whole body and encourages a pleasant sweat. Through the windows, you can gaze out at Kirishima's rich natural scenery, making it a sauna you can enjoy in an open and uplifting atmosphere. After leaving the sauna, access to the large cold plunge bath right next door is excellent, allowing you to enjoy alternating hot and cold bathing while taking in the spectacular view.
