About Yutomori Club

"Yutomori Club" is a forest hot spring resort hotel for adults in Zaō Town, Katta District, Miyagi Prefecture. Set in a vast forest within Zaō Quasi-National Park, it offers the ideal everyday escape through an all-inclusive stay. The two private hot spring sources drawn from the property itself are the soft Tokarita hot spring waters that gently envelop the skin. You can enjoy a forest bathing tour of the baths in the open-air bath with free-flowing spring water along the mountain stream and in the open-air bath of the large public bath. The large public bath is equipped with a spacious, authentic sauna. With a fireplace lounge and a bonfire garden as well, it is a serene retreat where you can surrender yourself to the murmuring stream and dappled sunlight filtering through the trees.

Large Public Bath

The separate large public baths for men and women each have an indoor bath and an open-air bath. The nearly colorless, clear private Tokarita hot spring water gently envelops the skin, with a salty warmth that loosens you all the way through. Large windows let in the greenery and light of the trees, so even in the indoor bath you can feel close to the forest. Step out into the open-air bath, and forest bathing merges with the outdoor air and steam.

Mountain Stream Open-Air Bath

An open-air bath tucked along a mountain stream, reached by walking down a forest path from the front desk. Its appeal lies in the overwhelming sense of unity created by the murmuring river right in front of you and the rich natural woodland all around. The sound of leaves swaying in the wind and birdsong blends with the rising steam, and while soaking in the fresh free-flowing spring water of this famous hot spring, you can spend a luxurious moment bathed from head to toe in the negative ions of untouched nature.

SaunaSAUNA

Sauna

A spacious, authentic sauna in the large public bath. Bright wooden tiered benches extend across the room, and the heat source surrounded by brick warms the entire space evenly. Round wall lights create a soft play of light and shadow, and in this quiet space with no unnecessary embellishments, you can work up a deep sweat. Once the heat settles onto your skin, a liberating feeling unfolds, as if your core is loosening all the way through.
