The large bath and open-air bath let you enjoy the inn’s private spring, Kamome-yu, which wells up from about 400 m underground on the property, with temperature adjustment through added water kept to a minimum and served in an all-free-flow system. This highly saline water is also known as the hot water of warmth. The salt that adheres to the skin helps prevent sweat from evaporating, giving it exceptionally strong heat-retention effects. It helps ease cold sensitivity and neuralgia, and the warmth lasts long after you leave the bath.
