Hot SpringONSEN

Bath

A natural hot spring using the source known as "Dai-ni Shugyoku no Yu," a sodium chloride spring. The water has a pale yellowish-brown color, and its seawater-like salt content adheres to the skin and helps prevent sweat from evaporating, so you stay warm for a long time and are less likely to cool down after bathing. Inside the large bath area, there is also a popular electric bath that helps relieve body stiffness with the double effect of natural hot spring water and electricity. In addition, there is a picturesque garden open-air bath surrounded by large natural rocks, a rarity even within the prefecture, where you can relax while looking out over the garden that changes with the seasons.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
