"Shiosai Kirara Shokichi" is a hot spring inn in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture. Boasting a superb location facing the Seto Inland Sea, its open-air bath with a sweeping 180-degree panorama lets you fully enjoy Ako Onsen, rich in salt. The large bath, Soka no Yu, is equipped with a sauna, and the large windows in the sauna room offer a view of the calm seascape of the Seto Inland Sea. The inn's own private source of Ako Onsen, blessed by the Seto Inland Sea. Its highly saline water is characterized by a rich, enveloping buoyancy and excellent heat-retaining properties. It also contains trace amounts of radioactive components, which are said to help restore both mind and body from fatigue. In the rock-built open-air bath that seems to blend into the stunning scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, you can enjoy a restorative bathing experience while listening to the rich sound of the waves.

This sauna is located in the large bath, Soka no Yu, which operates on a men-and-women alternating schedule. It is a dry type in a mild temperature range, where you can enjoy sweating at a leisurely pace. From the large window inside the room, you can take in the beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, including its gentle waves and the many islands such as Shodoshima. While watching the colors of the sea change over time, you can turn inward and savor a deeply calm, relaxing time in this one-of-a-kind space.

A compact pot-style cold plunge bath installed in the open-air area. Fresh water is constantly poured in from a bamboo spout, gently cooling your body after a good sauna session and refreshing you comfortably. With a mild water temperature that lets you soak for longer, you can savor a luxurious cool-down experience, feeling the brisk sea breeze and enjoying the sweeping panoramic seascape right in front of you.
