Hot Spring & Bath Information

Kannoyu Hot Spring (Kannoyu Onsen)

TypeNatural Hot Spring

Kannoyu Hot Spring (Kannoyu Onsen) 1

The facility's private spring that wells up from 1,004 m underground. Named Kannoyu Hot Spring because this area was once part of the sacred grounds of Ikuta Shrine. The water comes from the granite layers of the Rokko Mountains that produce Miyamizu used in Nada's famous sake, formed in the Late Cretaceous about 80 million years ago. The spring is colorless and clear with a gentle feel on the skin. It is expected to help stabilize the autonomic nervous system and may be beneficial for insomnia, muscle pain, and poor circulation. It is a luxurious hot spring unique to Sannomiya, where a genuine onsen gushes up from beneath an urban building.

The large sauna room that symbolizes Kobe Sauna & Spa. Renovated in November 2025, it was reborn with the concept of "more comfortable, hotter." Large windows facing the outdoors let in natural light and create a sense of openness. Staff perform a löyly service every 30 minutes by pouring aromatic water over the sauna stones, which rapidly raises humidity and increases the perceived temperature.

Finnish Sauna 1
Men's

A sauna cabin in the outdoor area that recreates a lakeside Finnish sauna hut. It was built using kelo wood imported from Finland, known as the "jewel of wood," whose grain and fragrance are pleasant. Self-löyly is available so guests can adjust the steam at their own pace. A bucket shower is installed at the entrance, and a vihta (birch whisk) is provided. This space faithfully reproduces authentic Finnish sauna culture and embodies the pride of being Japan's only full member facility of the Finnish Sauna Association.

Men's

A sauna where natural salt is rubbed onto the body to promote sweating. The temperature is modest, placing less strain on the body and allowing for a slow, steady sweat. The salt is said to boost metabolism and can help firm and smooth the skin. The temperature range is approachable for those who dislike dry saunas, offering a gentle sweating experience that doubles as skincare. An automatic shower is installed at the exit so you can wash the salt off before moving on, and the flow between areas is thoughtfully designed.

A Turkish-style hot stone spa where you lie on warmed marble and sweat. The combination of humidity and the far-infrared effect of the marble warms the body more gently than a dry sauna. It is suitable for people who find very hot saunas uncomfortable. The interior is lined with marble and guests can relax on the central platform.

[Outdoor] cold plunge bath 1
Men's

A cold plunge bath located in the outdoor area. The water temperature is fixed at 11.7°C year-round. This temperature was set as the facility's way of ensuring the memory of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of January 17, 1995 does not fade. Brisk and cold, it rapidly tones the body heated by a high-temperature sauna. It is positioned adjacent to both the main sauna and the Finnish sauna, allowing a smooth transition to the cold plunge from either sauna. Outdoor rest chairs surround the cold plunge so you can cool down feeling the breeze in the open, airy space.
