About Kosenkaku Yoshinoya

"Kosenkaku Yoshinoya" is a hot spring ryokan in Totsukawa Village, Yoshino District, Nara Prefecture. Standing on the shores of beautiful Lake Fujino, it offers sweeping views of the calm lake surface from every guest room and bath. Its rare 100% free-flowing natural hot spring is poured lavishly without any added water or reheating. In summer, the source is cooled to the ideal temperature through piping that uses cold water from the dam lake, preserving the spring's original freshness. With atmospheric baths carved from a huge tree trunk and an open-air waterwheel bath right at the water's edge, you can soak in skin-beautifying waters that feel like serum and enjoy an exquisite moment of harmony with nature.

Totsukawa Onsen

A luxurious natural hot spring using a mixed spring from Source No. 2 and Source No. 7 of Totsukawa Onsen in the form of 100% free-flowing water. No added water, reheating, or sterilization treatment is performed, and the bath is filled with extremely fresh water that is replaced daily. In summer, the source is naturally cooled through piping that uses cold water from the dam lake, a distinctive effort to deliver an exceptional skin-beautifying bath without diluting it. You can enjoy its rich, silky feel in the indoor bath carved from a huge tree trunk and in the open-air waterwheel bath, where the calm surface of Lake Fujino appears right before you.
