"Myoken Ishiharaso" is a hot spring ryokan along the Amori River in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. It has seven private hot spring sources on the grounds, and the water is drawn directly to the baths as a "living hot spring" with its temperature adjusted by heat exchangers, without adding water or storing it in tanks. The spring quality is a bicarbonate spring, renowned as a skin-beautifying hot spring. Guests can enjoy the exceptionally fresh water in the open-air baths while listening to the river’s murmur, as well as in the carefully designed large public baths. A compact sauna that still lets you work up a solid sweat, along with a gentle cold plunge bath using Kirishima natural water, is also available.
