About Sansuirou

"Sansuirou SANSUIROU" is a long-established, prestigious ryokan-restaurant inn founded in 1933, tucked along the Okuyugawara Valley in Yugawara Town, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture. It offers refined Japanese elegance shaped by the artistry of sukiya-style architecture, and its pride and joy is authentic monthly kaiseki cuisine, including its famous homemade yuba made by lifting it from the broth. In March 2024, LEGEND, a fully glass-enclosed Finnish sauna, was newly installed at the sky-high open-air observation bath Oozora, which offers a 360-degree view of the mountains of Okuyugawara. It is the first sauna of its kind in a lodging facility in Kanagawa Prefecture. Self löyly, a cold plunge bath, outdoor air bathing under the open sky, and even open-air baths in the guest rooms are all available.

Hot SpringONSEN

Bath

A colorless, clear, mildly alkaline calcium sulfate spring drawn from the hot spring source on the property. It is a skin-beautifying bath that leaves the skin soft and smooth, and is also effective for arteriosclerosis and sensitivity to cold. At the top-floor open-air observation bath Oozora, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the endless sky and star-filled heavens above, and the beauty of the Okuyugawara valley embraced by the mountains below. Surrounded by the fragrance of hinoki cypress and listening to the murmuring stream, you can savor an exquisite sky-high bathing experience.
