An Oku-Noto open-air bath with spectacular views of Gunkanjima and a public inn that supports reconstruction with warmth

Ishikawa Suzu City

"Noto Misaki Onsen Notojiso" is a hot spring ryokan in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It stands right in front of Mitsukejima, also known as Gunkanjima, a scenic spot at the very tip of the Noto Peninsula, and prides itself on its open location surrounded by sea breeze and the sound of the waves. It draws Suzu Onsen, a simple hot spring that is gentle on the skin and less likely to cause hot-spring fatigue. From the open-air bath, Kobo no Yu, you can enjoy bathing while taking in the magnificent view of Mitsukejima and the moving sunrise over the Sea of Japan. The open-air area also used to feature a stove-style sauna and a cold plunge bath where guests could work up a sweat while enjoying the spectacular view of Mitsukejima. At present, it serves as an inn supporting recovery from the earthquake, continuing step by step to contribute to the reconstruction of Oku-Noto while offering the warmth of its indoor hot spring bath.
