About Taikanso Senami no Yu

Taikanso Senami no Yu is an onsen inn in Senami Onsen, in Murakami, Niigata Prefecture. It sits right at the water’s edge, with sweeping views across the Sea of Japan. The separate men’s and women’s main bathhouses each have an expansive open-air bath where sea and sky seem to merge, and you can soak in a chloride spring known as the “bath of heat” for how well it holds its warmth. There is also a low-temperature sauna where you can take your time working up a sweat while gazing out over the vast seascape. For time to yourself, there is a private bath, and some rooms come with their own open-air bath fed straight from the source, never recirculated, so you can spend blissful moments with the sound of the waves as your soundtrack.
