About Yukemuri no Yado Yukinohana

"Yukemuri no Yado Yukinohana" is a hot spring inn in Yuzawa Town, Minamiuonuma District, Niigata Prefecture. The property carries on the atmosphere of a snow country with interiors styled in a Showa-era aesthetic, and the large public bath on the top floor offers a sweeping view of the Echigo mountains. The indoor bath, with its tatami-covered floor that is gentle on bare feet, is equipped with a reclining bath, a dry sauna, and a cold plunge bath. In the open-air bath area, a rock bath and reclining bath let you soak while feeling the outdoor air. There are three free private baths in the building that can be used without a reservation, and rooms with their own hot spring bath are also available. From ice cream in the post-bath lounge to nighttime ramen, this inn is filled with thoughtful touches in every corner of the stay.

The tatami-covered floor feels pleasant under bare feet, and when you sink into the large tub, the mountain ridges of Echigo fill your field of view. Private bath

Three private baths are available in the building. With different styles of tubs made of stone, cypress, and ceramic, they can be used freely if they are vacant, without a reservation. Once you close the door, it becomes a space just for you, where only the sound of the water echoes and you can stretch out your arms and legs without worrying about anyone else. The luxury of being able to go whenever you think of it, whether late at night or at dawn, gently loosens the pace of your journey.

Sauna & Cold BathSAUNA & COLD BATH

Dry sauna

A dry sauna where the dry heat gently seeps into the skin, and once you sit down, sweat begins to pour out all at once. Reflecting the calm atmosphere of the tatami-covered bath area, the room is filled with a quiet, composed stillness. When you lower your heated body into the cold plunge bath, the chill quickly settles the pulsing heat. After your mind clears to the core, head out to the open-air bath. Let your damp skin meet the outdoor air of Echigo, and rest beside the rock bath while gazing at the mountain ridges, leaving a quiet afterglow in your body.
