Sakihana Onsen Suigyoku no Yado Satorikan is a scenic hot spring ryokan in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, with a magnificent view of the Agano River stretching out right in front of you. From the panoramic public bath on the 5th floor, you can enjoy Sakihana Onsen, which is said to be highly effective for beautiful skin and shimmers in an emerald green color, through 100% natural free-flowing hot spring water, together with the pleasant murmur of the river. In addition to the mixed-gender rotation open-air baths Mizukagami and Hanakagami, the property also features two private panoramic open-air baths where you can fully enjoy the view below in privacy. With only 2 rooms featuring their own open-air baths, and seasonal kaiseki cuisine made with Niigata’s rich local ingredients, it offers a quiet and refined moment of relaxation.

Large Public Bath

A luxurious Sakihana Onsen bath on the top floor, beautifully shimmering in emerald green and fed 100% directly from the source. It features a mild alkaline quality and an exceptionally gentle feel on the skin, offering a triple beauty effect that helps cleanse and moisturize at the same time. There is an indoor bath, as well as the open-air baths Mizukagami and Hanakagami, which look out over the grand flow of the Agano River right before your eyes. You can enjoy an exquisite bath surrounded by seasonal scenery throughout the year.

Private Panoramic Open-Air Bath

Two private, fully reservation-based 50-minute panoramic open-air baths, Akane and Ao, are available on the top floor. Like the large public bath, these baths use the beautiful emerald-green Sakihana source water lavishly, with 100% direct flow from the source. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Agano River flowing below, the refreshing breeze crossing the river surface, and the ever-changing colors of the sky in quiet privacy, undisturbed by anyone else.
