Large Public Bath Gero Onsen
The bathing area of the large public bath, Bamboo Tale. It features a spacious glass-walled indoor bath and a soothing open-air bath scented with hinoki cypress. Taking advantage of its hilltop location, it offers a grand panorama with the townscape of Gero below, the Masuda River ahead, and the fresh mountains of Hida stretching out before you. At night, the lights of the hot spring district sparkle in the nightscape, while in the morning a dreamlike view wrapped in morning mist unfolds, letting you fully enjoy a deep sense of unity with nature while soaking in the famed hot spring.
