"Hirugami Grand Hotel Tenshin" is a modern Japanese-style hot spring inn in Achi Village, Shimoina District, Nagano Prefecture. Nestled in one of South Shinshu's premier hot spring resorts, it offers the renowned "beauty bath" of alkaline simple sulfur spring water, with an astonishing pH of 9.7 and strong alkalinity. On the 7th floor, there is a panoramic large bath overlooking the hot spring town and surrounding mountains. On the 1st floor, a atmospheric garden open-air bath features reclining baths and pot baths, and at night you can fully enjoy the luxurious, silky hot spring while gazing up at the magnificent starry sky of Achi Village, which was selected by the Ministry of the Environment as the place where the stars shine most brilliantly.
A spacious observation bath that luxuriously occupies an entire floor on the top, 7th floor. Through the large glass windows, you can take in sweeping views of the gentle mountains of Hirugami Onsen and the tranquil hot spring town, enjoying a bath as if you were floating in the sky. A dry sauna is also adjacent.
A garden open-air bath on the 1st floor, with an impressive large hipped roof made of hinoki cypress. The large outdoor rock bath, the reclining bath where you can comfortably stretch out, and the private-feeling pot baths are beautifully arranged within the garden. At night, you can relax in the silky beauty bath while gazing at one of Japan's most beautiful starry skies.
The free foot bath called Hidamari no Yu, located on the hotel grounds. It is a very open, relaxing space surrounded by abundant nature such as nearby weeping cherry trees and a refreshing breeze. The silky, smooth beauty bath gently soothes the fatigue of your journey from your feet upward.
