Hot SpringONSEN

Large Public Bath, Awara Onsen

Awara Onsen fills Sennokoboreyu, the large public bath that boasts one of the largest scales in Hokuriku. This weakly alkaline chloride spring is known for its smooth, skin-adhering texture. Surrounded by abundant hot water, you can enjoy a luxurious bathing tour through a variety of tubs, including tsuboyu, turtle baths, and lie-down baths. After bathing, your skin feels silky smooth, and the excellent heat-retention effect keeps your whole body warm and toasty for a long time. This is a high-quality hot spring.

Open-Air Bath in the Guest Room, Awara Onsen

A private open-air hot spring bath installed in the rooms of the special-floor Tokiwasure Riza. Beautiful ceramic tubs such as Shigaraki ware are provided, allowing you to enjoy your own bathing experience without being disturbed by anyone. You can soak in the hot spring whenever you like, at any time in your room, offering the ultimate accommodation experience where you can indulge in Awara's famous hot spring in the luxury of a private space.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
