Tokyo Shinagawa City
An urban spa featuring Japan's first tram sauna and a rare kelo sauna
"Sauna Metzza Oimachi Tracks" is an urban wellness spa in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo. Created by Spa Metzza, the nationwide No. 1 winner of Sauna Shuran, it offers a refined recovery space for adults. For men, it features Japan's first tram sauna and a meditation sauna made with rare kelo wood; for women, it offers a sauna scented with herbs and other different sauna experiences with distinct concepts for each gender. With cold plunge baths of different temperatures made with exceptionally soft water that is gentle on the skin, plus a variety of bathing tubs, you can enjoy an exquisite hot-and-cold alternating bath experience. It also includes a rest area with a coworking space, sound-absorbing sofas, and a restaurant, making it a place where you can deeply reset your mind and body in the gaps of urban life.

A large bath with a wide variety of functional tubs, all using exceptionally soft water that feels gentle on the skin. You can enjoy bathing according to your mood, from hot baths that thoroughly warm the body to bubbly baths where countless bubbles envelop you, and personal-style microbubble tubs that bring forest-bathing-like relaxation. It is an ideal space for hot-and-cold alternating bathing before and after sauna sessions, as well as for relaxing and soothing everyday fatigue.

Japan's first tram sauna, inspired by its location next to Oimachi Station's train depot. In a space that recreates the interior of a wooden tram, pressing the seat buttons releases steam, while the scent of spicy Western red cedar fills the air with an effect that makes it feel as if a train is about to depart. You can forget the noise of the city and enjoy a unique sauna experience while feeling the travel atmosphere drifting past the train windows.

A meditation sauna that lavishly uses rare kelo wood, known as the "jewel of trees," from the benches to the walls. It adopts a unique löyly structure, where water flowing down the walls touches the kelo and releases a rich woody aroma. Surrounded by gentle radiant heat, you can deeply focus on your own breathing in an environment that feels like the quiet of a forest, guiding both mind and body toward recovery.

A fragrant sauna for women only, where the vitality of plants and a sense of warmth are in harmony. The rising steam gently gathers the aromas of carefully selected herbs and medicinal plants arranged in woven baskets and flasks, softly filling the space. The interior makes generous use of Western red cedar, blending its sweet, calm woody fragrance with the freshness of medicinal herbs to quietly loosen both mind and body.

A cold water bath using exceptionally soft water that feels gentle on the skin. The clear coldness instantly awakens your body after sauna heat and sharpens your senses. Designed so you can immerse yourself up to the shoulders while slightly crouched, it cools the entire body evenly and provides a refreshing cooldown that flows smoothly into your next rest or outdoor air bath.

An extremely cold single-person bath whose sharp cooling sensation tightens the whole body at once. The contrast between the smooth, soft feel of the exceptionally soft water and its intense coldness leads you into a deep cooldown in a short time. By using it in sequence with the adjacent cold water bath in a cold-cold alternating bath, you can savor a distinctive sense of refreshment that makes the body feel light and the lingering afterglow of deep totonou.
