Main bathhouse
A main bathhouse facing the Kumano Sea, filled with sodium chloride spring water from its own source. The glass-walled indoor bath looks straight out to the Pacific, so you can have the horizon to yourself without leaving the water. Outdoors lies a rugged rock bath: the open ocean by day, starlight and moonlight by night, and in the morning the sun rising from the sea colors the surface of the water. The single-person ceramic urn baths have constantly flowing water; rest your head on the rim and the sky fills your view. There is also a bath where fine bubbles envelop the whole body. The slightly salty water warms you well, and the warmth lingers on your skin long after you step out.
