Large public bath
A large public bath facing the Kumano-nada Sea, filled with sodium chloride spring water from its own source. The glass-walled indoor bath opens out onto the Pacific Ocean, letting you feel as if you own the horizon while soaking in the water. Outside, a rustic rock bath spreads out in a natural setting, with the vast ocean by day, starlight and moonlight by night, and the rising sun in the morning coloring the surface of the water. The single-person ceramic tsubo-yu is continuously fed with fresh hot spring water, and if you rest your head on the rim, the sky opens up across your entire field of view. There is also a bath filled with fine bubbles that envelop your whole body; the salty water warms you thoroughly, and the warmth lingers on your skin long after you leave the bath.
