Main bathhouse
Separate main bathhouses for men and women, drawing the only natural onsen that rises on the island. The water is a calcium-magnesium chloride cold mineral spring; rich in minerals, it wraps the body in warmth, and the warmth lingers long after you step out. The Genkai Sea spreads right before the open-air bath, where you can feel the sea breeze and have the sun sinking toward the horizon, and at night a sky glittering with stars, all to yourself. The indoor bath uses plain heated water, in a bright room that opens toward the blue sky and sea. For hygiene, the water is kept on a recirculating system. It is said to help with neuralgia, muscle pain, sensitivity to cold and recovery from fatigue.
