"Okudogo Ichiyu no Mori" is a hotel in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture. Its biggest highlight is Suimei-no-Yu, a large open-air bath said to be one of the biggest in western Japan. The baths open out toward a panorama of lush valleys and mountain streams, letting you soak while surrounded by nature as far as the eye can see. The water is a simple alkaline sulfur spring, using natural hot spring water drawn directly from the source, which is famous as a beauty-enhancing bath in Okudogo. The open-air baths come in 7 different styles for men and women, offering a variety of bathing experiences. In addition, there are 5 private open-air baths in the basement of the main building, and special rooms with in-room open-air baths by the riverbank are also available, allowing you to fully enjoy the sound of the Ishite River and a forest bath in a private space.

An open-air bath by the riverbed permanently installed in the special first-floor guest rooms built along the Ishite River. Okudogo Onsen water is drawn as 100% natural hot spring water directly from the source, and during the day you can enjoy a forest view of Mt. Sugitate, while at night you can take in the illuminated view across the river. It is a premium private space where you can enjoy forest bathing and soaking at the same time while listening to the sound of the river.
