About Akayu Onsen Sakurayu Sansyuyu
Sakurayu Sansyuyu is an onsen inn at Akayu Onsen in Nanyo, Yamagata Prefecture. It has just seven rooms, and every one has its own open-air bath of natural onsen water fed straight from the source, never recirculated. Akayu Onsen, with some 900 years of history since it was first opened, has excellent water that is soft on the skin and warms you to the core. In the main bathhouse you can enjoy a spacious indoor bath where you can stretch out your legs, and an open-air bubble bath where you relax in the play of the bubbles while feeling a pleasant breeze. In a calming space overlooking the garden, you can enjoy the luxury of soaking in this celebrated water as often as you like, whenever you like, without minding anyone.

(Natural onsen) Main bathhouse
The main bathhouse has an indoor bath with a large tub where you can stretch out your arms and legs and soak at leisure, and an open-air bath in a pleasant breeze. The open-air bath is a bubble bath, where fine bubbles gently envelop the whole body and bring deep relaxation. In the spacious surroundings you can take your time enjoying the excellent water, soft on the skin and warming you right to the core.
