"Sun Olive Onsen" is a scenic day-use onsen facility with breathtaking views, located inside "Michi-no-Eki Shodoshima Olive Park," one of Shodoshima’s sightseeing spots. From the baths, you can look out over the calm Uchinomi Bay (Seto Inland Sea) and the beautiful olive groves stretching out below, and enjoy natural onsen with simple radioactive spring water in the best possible location. The bathing area is equipped with a wide variety of baths, including the famous herb bath, which soothes with its fragrance, as well as waterfall-style baths, reclining baths, and walking baths. The sauna area features two types of saunas: a properly hot far-infrared sauna and a steam sauna, and a luxurious totonou flow is prepared, from a pleasant cold plunge bath to outdoor air bathing in the open-air area where you can feel the sea breeze.

The water is characterized by its gentle alkaline feel on the skin, soothing the fatigue of travel. A full-fledged dry sauna room heated powerfully yet gradually from deep within by a far-infrared stove. The moderately compact room, with a capacity of about 8 people, maintains a pleasant level of heat, allowing you to enjoy a refreshing and satisfying sweat.
